We are pleased to announce we have appointed Sarah McCarthy as a Chartered Legal Executive in our private family law team. 

Sarah has an impressive 20 years’ experience working in private family law and has shown how she can make a positive difference to families who are in need of help. 

Speaking on her appointment, Sarah said: 

I like that I act as a confidant for clients within my work, as it allows me to show the empathy they deserve when dealing with sensitive matters. I am excited to put this into practice and lend my support to clients and the family team at Jackson Lees.” 

Sarah has been a member of Liverpool Law Society’s family law sub-committee since 2011, assisting director Jo Downey in organising the organisation’s private child conference and family finance conference. Helping to bring in guest speakers on important family law topics. 

In 2021, she was awarded the accolade family law chartered legal executive of the year at the Family Law Awards.  

On Sarah’s appointment, Haley Farrell, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Family Law, said:
