We are delighted to be working with St Margaret's Academy, helping out with their volunteering programme!
The South Liverpool school has a long tradition of encouraging pupils to get involved in fundraising and volunteering projects across the city and we, Broudie Jackson Canter, have sponsored their efforts for a number of years.
We are proud to continue our work with St Margaret's as this year the school are raising money for the Walton Centre NHS Trust where two staff members have recently been treated. As part of their fundraising effort on Saturday 17th November, 63 pupils and four staff members were at Tesco Mather Avenue packing bags and raised a total of £2,022. Chris Topping, Director & Head of Action Against Police at Broudie Jackson Canter, attended on Saturday and said:
It is fantastic to see so many young people giving up their time to raise money for a fantastic cause. The pupils were really enthusiastic and told me that the money would be used to purchase equipment which would help others. It has been great helping out as the ethos of the school matches that of our firm 'Make a Positive Difference'
Over the coming months we look forward to supporting the school in their efforts. For example, in March a team of runners will take part in the Liverpool Half Marathon to raise money for local causes.
