I am a Covid Caseworker within the Covid Inquiry team here at Broudie Jackson Canter. Our team act on behalf of bereaved families in the investigation of the government’s mishandling of the pandemic. My role involves reading and gathering information about government decision-making, answering client queries and being involved in the production of weekly newsletters to keep our clients updated on the latest inquiry developments.
A little about me
I am a positive, empathetic person who has always had a passion for social justice and wanting to help others, which I aim to achieve through delivery of a friendly, 5* service. In the past I have taken part in various pro bono schemes, assisting family solicitors in the University of Liverpool Law Clinic and barristers in the Temple Legal Centre to provide access to justice opportunities to members of the local Liverpool community. I joined Broudie Jackson Canter in August 2023 and love being part of a team that has such a strong commitment to achieving social justice and ensuring that our clients voices are heard.
My experience
I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a first class in 2021 before going on to study my LPC and LLM at the University of Law for which I was awarded a Distinction. I recently joined Broudie Jackson Canter after having completed my legal education and worked in various customer service environments. I feel that those experiences have equipped me with the essential client care skills required in my capacity as a covid caseworker. In the future, I hope to qualify as a solicitor in the personal legal services sector.
