I specialise in the Mental Health Act 1983. I assist people who are detained under the Mental Health Act either in hospital or in the community. I represent detained clients in respect of appeals to the Mental Health First Tier Tribunal as well as Hospital Managers Hearings.

I am committed to ensuring my client’s achieve the best possible outcome in each case. I’m friendly, approachable and a good listener and pride myself on having a great working relationship with each of my client’s.
My experience
I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. I became an Accredited Member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives having gained a Professional Diploma in Law & Practice. I became an Accredited Member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Tribunal Panel in 2014 which ensures that I maintain a high level of knowledge, skills and experience in mental health law. I joined the Mental Health Department of Broudie Jackson Canter in 2014.
