The ceremony took place on Friday 12th May at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool, and showcased the strength and influence of the legal sector in the region.
On a very special evening for the Group, the firm won:
- Junior Lawyer Award - Alice Stevens (Actions Against the Police and Inquests)
- Work in the Community Award
- Large Law Firm Award
Brian Cullen, CEO at the Jackson Lees Group, said:
“It makes me very proud to see all our hard work recognised at the Law Society Awards. Huge congratulations to Alice Stevens on winning the Junior Lawyer Award. It demonstrates our commitment to nurturing young talent following Gemma Ellison’s success in 2015 in the same category. I’m delighted that the work of The Jackson Lees Foundation has been recognised for the impact it is having on the local community.
The Large Law Firm Award is about the great work that we do with all of our clients and customers in creating an experience that is working by their side, whatever the service we are providing from traumatic situations and difficult times, through to protecting their futures and families to the joy of moving home! The teams that we have across this business have yet again been recognised as being the best in the region.”
Alice Stevens, Trainee Solicitor in our Actions Against the Police and Inquests department at Broudie Jackson Canter, was awarded the Junior Lawyer Award. Alice joined the Group in 2014, and the award is a testament to the hard work, passion and dedication she has shown to her department and the firm. She said of her win:
“I’m delighted to have won Junior Lawyer, especially after being in a category alongside such incredible lawyers. As a legal aid lawyer, it’s great to have recognition and I hope that it might inspire more people to want to work in this challenging, yet rewarding, area. I am so grateful to the team, and to Broudie Jackson Canter, for all of their support over the past few years.”
Thank you to Liverpool Law Society for an amazing ceremony and congratulations to all the other winners.
