I am a Solicitor in our Criminal Defence Team based at the Liverpool Walker House office. I appear in the Magistrates Court on a day to day basis where I represent both youths and adults who have been charged with a broad range of offences.
A little about me
I recognise that being involved in the Criminal Justice System is an extremely daunting and stressful experience for anyone and I believe I am able to offer my clients advice and support to take away as much pressure as possible. I have experience in a variety of departments which can often assist my understanding of the issues my clients are facing and it is important to me for my client’s feel that their voice is being heard when they need it most.
My experience
I graduated from University of Liverpool in 2016 with a degree in Law with Philosophy before going on to study the LPC part time at Liverpool John Moore’s University. I joined the Jackson Lees Group in 2018 and I have experience within our Court of Protection, Public Family and Inquest teams.
I joined the Criminal Defence team in October 2020 and I obtained my Higher Rights of Audience on qualification which means I am qualified to advocate in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts.
I am currently Chair of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division where I lead a committee of 16 others to create opportunities for young people looking to break into and navigate the legal profession across the city.
Client testimonials
Chelsea was amazing, so glad I chose your company to represent me in court. I believe Chelsea's defence got me the best possible outcome. I was communicated with very well during the lead up to my court date and beyond. I cannot think of anything in relation to my case that could have been improved. I would not hesitate to recommend Broudie Jackson Canter to anyone.
