How can I help you?

I consider myself to be down to earth and pragmatic. My aim is to provide clear, straightforward advice for each client. I have a broad experience of working for clients from various backgrounds to provide advice in all areas of lifetime and post-death tax planning, this often includes will and trust drafting.

A little bit about me

A great deal of my work involves advising family business owners (agricultural as well as commercial); trustees; compensation and tax planning trusts; charities; and executors of complex high value estates. I also have experience of working with the Court of Protection as a Deputy and the Office of the Public Guardian, advising clients on the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney. I act as a professional executor for Estates & Probate administration and as a trustee for various family trusts, as an attorney for several non-domiciled clients and for vulnerable or elderly clients. I have been appointed by the Office of the Public Guardian in conjunction with various Local Authorities to act as a professional deputy (or sometimes attorney) for clients with varying capacity issues and/or safeguarding concerns.

My experience

I completed my law degree at Wolverhampton University in 2002 and the Legal Practice Course at Liverpool John Moores University in 2005. I qualified as a solicitor in May 2006 and joined a firm to practice private client law, I have been specialising in this area since then.
