I am the Head of Court of Protection for Jackson Lees, meaning that I oversee our thriving COP department.
We work with, and on behalf of, vulnerable adults and children that usually have some challenges with their mental capacity. Our work is exceptionally varied, often challenging but always rewarding.
As the Head of Department it is my role to ensure the team functions well, but also to have the final say on any decisions that are made for our clients. These can be extremely complex at times, but I have always loved the problem-solving side of the job!
A little about me
If I’m not in the office then I’m most likely watching some football somewhere. I have a season ticket for a team in the red half of Manchester, but I will happily watch any football, at any time, anywhere (to be fair that applies to all sports!)
My experience
I joined Jackson Lees in September 2024, but I have worked in COP throughout my career in law, dating back to 2013.
I’ve worked at some of the larger firms in the North West, as well as more specialised, boutique firms and I strongly believes it’s given me an excellent foundation for the work I do.
