What do we need?

We are currently recruiting for a Solicitor or Legal Executive (or equivalent experience) Team Leader to be based in our Walker House office but also hybrid work is available. The purpose of this position is to provide a first-rate legal service to our clients according to their specific needs, ensuring full compliance with policies and procedures laid out by the group and by regulatory bodies. To act as an ambassador for the group at all times, actively promoting its services.

What do you need?

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience running clinical negligence cases (including high value/complex cases) to successful conclusion.
  • Passion for the practice area.
  • Empathy for clients whilst retaining a professional attitude.
  • Ability to supervise and support lawyers in your team to increase their experience and expertise in progressing a caseload.
  • A good team player. 
  • Commercial awareness.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Progressing a good quality caseload of clinical negligence cases of varying complexity and value.
  • Supervision and support of lawyers within your team.
  • Accountable to the Head of Department.
  • Ability to plan progress on cases to include forecasting on possible Interim Payments of damages and costs and also ultimate settlement.
  • To achieve billing and chargeable hours KPIs.
