Jackson Lees Group, which has offices in Liverpool and on the Wirral, will proudly be supporting the Hospice’s annual ‘Make a Will’ month this April. For the duration of the month, lawyers at Jackson Lees will be preparing Wills, without charge.
All that both the Hospice and the firm ask from those using the service is to make a reasonable donation to the Hospice. The Hospice suggests a donation of £100 per single Will and £150 for joint Wills.
John E Jones, Head of Wills, Trusts & Probate at Jackson Lees Group, said:
Jackson Lees is delighted to be, once again, supporting the annual ‘Make a Will’ month organised by Wirral Hospice St Johns.
We have been involved in this annual April event since its inception in 2011. Not only are we supporting the incredible work of this amazing charity, but we are looking forward to helping our local community members in making that important decision to enter a Will and giving them that peace of mind that comes with doing so.
Anne Forrester, Chartered Legal Executive at Jackson Lees, added:
It’s a lovely cause to be able to support. The Wills we write often leave a legacy to the Hospice. What is also really pleasing is that many people often donate more than the suggested amount and take advantage of Gift Aid resulting in raising more funds for the Hospice.
Jackson Lees Group has been involved with the Hospice’s ‘Make a Will’ month since it started. Since then, they have helped to raise a whopping £38,902 in donations alone. Separately, many residents have generously included a legacy in their Wills leaving gifts to the Hospice.
Wirral Hospice St John’s provides free care for adult patients with incurable illnesses, with the majority of their income being donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts – Therefore every penny raised counts.
