I work in the Criminal Department at Broudie Jackson Canter. I represent people who have been arrested and taken to the Police Station for questioning in relation to the full range of criminal offences which includes Drugs Conspiracies, Sexual Offences and other less serious offences. I also represent people who have been asked to attend at the Police Station voluntarily by arrangement as well as interviews with other Government departments such as the Department of Work and Pensions in relation to people who are questioned under caution in relation to benefit claims.
In addition to attending Police interviews I work alongside Barristers and Solicitor Advocates in the preparation of offences in the Crown Court. Preparation often includes obtaining witness statements from defendants and their witnesses, instructing experts and liaising with the Court and Prosecution when necessary.
A little about me
I recognise that being questioned by the Police (or other Agencies) can be extremely stressful. My experience allows me to help in these situations and give properly considered advice bearing in mind the rights of the individual who I am representing. If someone is asked to attend for questioning voluntarily I am more than happy to make mutually convenient arrangements in advance.
My experience
I joined Jackson Canter in 2001 as a Crown Court clerk and became an Accredited Police Station Representative in 2009. I have vast experience in all aspects of Criminal Law.
