I am a solicitor in the Immigration team. I work on a variety of different immigration and public law matters, specialising in asylum, trafficking, and domestic abuse cases. I also represent clients in appeal hearings before the First-tier and Upper Tribunals.
A little about me
I am very passionate about social justice. Being able to help our clients who have often been through very difficult situations and making a positive difference to their lives is what motivates me to do the work we do.
I also strongly believe that everyone should have access to justice. Outside of work, I am a member of Young Legal Aid Lawyers’ committee. YLAL seek to ensure that publicly funded legal work is protected and so are the junior practitioners working in this area.
My experience
Prior to beginning my training contract in September 2022, I worked as Senior Immigration Caseworker at the firm for two years.
During my training contract I completed seats in both Immigration and Actions against the Police, where I worked on unlawful detention matters. In March 2024 I completed my training contract and was admitted to the roll of solicitors.
