I am an Accredited Police Station Reprentative in our Crime department. I represent people who have been arrested and taken to the Police Station for questioning in relation to the full range of criminal offences which includes Murder, Drugs Conspiracies, Sexual Offences Fraud, and other less serious offences. I also arrange on daily basis for clients to attend at police stations  and make representations as to why they should not be arrested and that they should  be dealt with on a voluntary basis. I also attend with clients for interviews with other Government departments such as Trading Standards and Department for Work and Pensions.

I deal with vulnerable adults and children who may have various special needs and this can also be challenging. I ensure that their needs are taken into consideration when protecting them and their rights.

I have lots of clients referred to me by other clients who have received a good result and/or are extremely happy with the service they have been given

In addition to attending Police interviews I work alongside Barristers and Solicitor Advocates in the preparation of the more serious offences in the Crown Court. Preparation often includes obtaining witness statements from defendants and their witnesses, instructing experts and liaising with the Court and Prosecution when necessary.

A little about me 

I recognise that being questioned by the Police (or other Agencies) can be extremely stressful. My experience allows me to help in these situations and give properly considered advice bearing in mind the rights of the individual who I am representing. I thrive on challenging officers and preparing clients case from the beginning to the end. I realise how harrowing the situation can be for a  client and their family so I treat every case as if it was one of my family members

My experience

I joined the firm in 1997 as support staff I then went on to assist the Solicitors in attending at the Magistrates Court seeing clients obtaining instructions. I then went on to gain legal qualifications and became an Accredited Police Station Representative in 2008. I have vast experience in all aspects of Criminal Law and enjoy that each day is different, each case I deal with is different and each client is different.
