I am a paralegal in the Medical Negligence department at our Walker House office. I handle the gathering and organisation of essential evidence, including medical records, expert opinions, and conduct legal research. My responsibilities also include drafting documents and liaising with clients, healthcare professionals, and defendants. I support our lawyers in managing tasks and meeting deadlines to build robust cases and achieve justice for clients harmed by medical errors.
A little about me
Originally from Kent, I have been living in Liverpool since 2019 and plan to qualify as a solicitor in this city, which I proudly call home. Outside of work, I am an avid Arsenal Football Club supporter and enjoy spending time with friends and, when possible, visiting my family back home.
My experience
In 2022, I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a sociology degree, focusing on the effects of state and corporate actions on individuals. My research examined the socioeconomic factors and legal frameworks that both enabled these actions and offered opportunities for reform. Driven by a strong interest in the impact that law can have, I pursued an LLM at the same university, graduating in 2023. I specialised in human rights and the regulation of corporate and state behaviour through legal frameworks.
I joined the Medical Negligence department at Jackson Lees in February 2024, after gaining experience in civil litigation at a previous firm. To progress my career, I plan to complete the SQE, qualify as a solicitor, and pursue a career in litigation.
