I specialise in financial claims following divorce or separation proceedings.  I regularly deal with cases where the assets are of significant value including pensions, companies and trust assets. Many of my clients are recommended to me by other lawyers and professionals. I also deal with an increasing number of pre-nuptial agreements.

A little about me

I take great pride in my commitment to client care. With over 40 years of experience of all types of family law and having two daughters I understand the complexities of family life. What strikes me most is how hopeless people feel at the beginning of the divorce or separation process, however, I pride myself on being able to restore that hope in people’s lives showing them how, whilst life will be different for the family, they will no longer be stuck in unhappy circumstances and that they will be able to move on.  I always strive to seek the best outcome for my clients.

My experience

I joined the firm in 1973 as a trainee solicitor.  I qualified as a solicitor in 1975 and became a partner some four years later in 1979 at the relatively young age of 28. Throughout my time at Jackson Lees I have dealt with Family matters and have specialised in this field for more than 25 years. For many years I was recommended in the legal 500 publication, the authoritative guide to the legal profession. I am an active member of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association).  I am also a fully trained collaborative lawyer.
