If you are a senior employee of an overseas company and wish to establish a UK branch, where there is no active one, this route can be of assistance.
You will need to show:
- That you hold a senior role in the business and that business does not have a presence in the UK
- You have been authorised to make decisions on behalf of the company in order to establish a UK branch or subsidiary carrying out work of the same nature as the parent company
- You must be an employee of the business in a full-time capacity
- You cannot be a majority shareholder
- You must be able to maintain yourself in the UK
- You must have a sufficient level of English
