Investor Visas

If you want and have access to invest £2,000,000 or more in the UK then you will need to apply for an Investor Visa.

The decision on your Visa will be made within 3 weeks, you are then able to apply for your Visa up to 3 months before your travel date to the UK.

The cost of an Investor Visa depends on your situation, where you are from and how you apply.

To extend your Visa you will be charged a one-off fee of £7,000, plus a further cost of £1,900 will be incurred for the main application and for each dependant.

You Investor Visa allows you to stay in the UK for a maximum 3 years and 4 months. You can apply to extend your stay for a further 2 years.

The Visa allows you to invest £2 million or more into a number of UK government bonds, share capital or loan capital in a UK registered company.

If you are capable of investing a minimum of £5 million you can apply to settle in the UK after 3 years. If you have £10 million to invest, you can settle after 2 years.

Your Visa also allows you to work and study however, you can not work as a doctor or dentist in training unless you did so the last time you were in the UK or you have at least a UK bachelors degree in medicine or dentistry that can provide you with sponsored licence.

You may not invest in companies related to property investment or development or work as a professional sportsperson or coach. You cannot receive public funds.
