Graduate Entrepreneur Visas

If you have Graduated with an official endorsement from the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) or UK higher education institution (UK HEI) as having a genuine and credible business idea then you may be accepted for a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur Visa.

If you are being endorsed by the UKTI then you should receive your decision within 3 weeks, the UKHEI however can take up to 8 weeks. Once you have your decision you can apply for your Visa up to 3 months before your date of travel to the UK.

The cost of a Graduate Entrepreneur Visa depends on your situation, where you are from and how you apply.

Your Visa entitles you to stay in the UK for 1 year with an extension of another 12 months. You cannot settle in the UK with this Visa.

You are able to bring family members with you and switch between Visa categories however, you cannot receive public funds or work as a doctor or dentist in training or as a professional sportsperson or coach.
